Mark your calendars for our first self-produced contemporary dance concert, The People Electric! This hour-long show features multiple works, a cast of 9 dancers, music by local artists, and is produced and choreographed by Artistic Director Shelly Hawkins (recipient of a stART Mini Grant from The Arts Foundation of Tucson and Southern Arizona). Her newest work is an expression of feminism and identity with a stylistic nod the second wave feminist movement of the 1960-70s.
