Arizona Schools CLOSED through the end of the School Year

To help combat the spread of the novel coronavirus, Gov. Doug Ducey announced all schools will remain closed.

University of Arizona: Spring Break Extended and Classes Move Online

The University of Arizona has extended spring break until March 18 and will move to online classes.

Pima Community College: All campuses and centers CLOSED

Pima Community College has closed moved classes to virtual instruction.

Salpointe Catholic High: Remote learning through late April

Salpointe Catholic suspended on-campus learning and extracurricular activities effective Monday, March 16, 2020. A release from the school stated mandatory online classes will begin March 23 and run through April 10, 2020. The plan is to resume classes on campus Monday, April 20, following the Easter holiday.

San Miguel High School: Online learning through mid-April

Sam Miguel High administrators said everyone will be back on campus after the Easter holiday.

Meals for Students

Tucson Unified School District

Starting Monday, March 23, Tucson Unified will be distributing food at 32 sites, which will be announced Tuesday. The district will have a drive-thru system and the child or children must be in the vehicle. The district will provide one hot meal (lunch) per child with a breakfast option for the following morning.

The sites will be open Monday through Friday and all children 18 years old and under are eligible.

The plan is pending approval by the TUSD Board, which is scheduled to vote during its meeting Wednesday night.

Sunnyside Unified School District

Starting Monday, March 23,2020 the district will offer grab-and-go breakfast and lunch to all children ages 1-18 years old at the following locations:

Craycroft Elementary: 5455 East Littletown Road

Drexel Elementary: 801 East Drexel
Elvira Elementary: 250 West Elvira Road
Los Amigos Elementary: 2200 East Drexel Road
Mission Manor Elementary School: 600 West Santa Rosa Street

Amphitheater Public Schools
The district will begin offering grab-and-go meal service to children 18 years old and under starting Monday, March 23. Children DO NOT have to be students in the district to receive meals, and no signup is required.

Pick-up stations, which are listed below, will be open for breakfast (7:30-8:30 a.m.) and lunch (noon-1 p.m.) Monday through Friday. The meals will be free to all students 18 years old and under

Catalina Foothills School District

Catalina Foothills School District students can take part in the Flowing Wells meal program. The meals will be free to all students 18 years old and under.
