Popular topics of conversation around the Tucson Lifestyle office tend to focus on the tastiest offerings at our favorite restaurants. Because April is traditionally the month we recognize culinary achievements at eateries around the city, we decided to publicize some of the top menu items (as chosen by our staff) at 10 local spots. It may seem like it was only yesterday, but MIXfm went on the air 30 years ago this year. For many of us, this station’s deep and ever-developing playlist is the soundtrack of our lives — at home, work and in the car. Executive Editor Scott Barker sat down with three much-loved MIX on-air personalities, and two invaluable guys behind the scenes, to hear their fun remembrances and anecdotes from their careers in radio. Tune in to the article, which commences on page 80.
