Professional Research Services Inc. (PRS) is a Detroit-based company that administers peer-review surveys of professionals including doctors, lawyers and dentists.

According to PRS, more than 2000 lawyers in Pima County were contacted.

Thousands of votes were cast, according to PRS. The research company received more than a 10 percent response rate to the survey.

What type of question was asked on the survey?

Lawyers were asked to recommend up to three colleagues in a given specialty. Once the ballots were counted, each nominee was carefully evaluated on the basis of the survey results, the legitimacy of their license and their current standing with the State Bar of Arizona.
