Tucson's only authentic Japanese gardens marks its Fall 2017 seasonal re-opening with "Enlightened Heart: Fire-engraved Wood Sculpture by Ping Wei." A Phoenix ceramicist and master of Ikebana (traditional Japanese flower arranging), Wei fire engraves wood tablets and sculpture of his own design with Asian calligraphy. All items are for sale in this exhibition, which closes December 30. (The Gardens are open daily except Mondays, Thanksgiving Day,and Dec. 24, 25, and 31.)
